Penny is a former professional baseball player. In 20 Major League Baseball seasons, Penny pitched for the Florida Marlins, Los Angeles Dodgers, Boston Red Sox, San Francisco Giants, St. Louis Cardinals, and Detroit Tigers. He was selected to pitch in the All-Star games of 2006 and 2007 and is credited with two wins during the 2003 World Series between the Marlins and the Yankees. Brad retired from professional baseball in 2016 and now resides in the Kansas City area with his wife and their four children.
